Donating $500K to Southern California Wildfire Relief
Howmet Aerospace Foundation provided a $500,000 grant to the American Red Cross to support wildfire victims and first responders in Southern California. With eight facilities in the Greater Los Angeles Area, Howmet Aerospace is deeply rooted in the community.
“Howmet Aerospace is part of this community,” said Vagner Finelli, President of Fastening Systems. “We’re committed to aiding the recovery efforts and supporting those affected by the wildfires.”
The Foundation’s partnership with the American Red Cross will ensure funds directly assist those impacted in California.

Supporting STEAM Education in Pittsburgh
Howmet Aerospace Foundation is helping provide learning opportunities to under-represented students in partnership with Sarah Heinz House in Pittsburgh. Through a five-year, $1 million grant from the Foundation, Sarah Heinz House will improve its technical infrastructure to support its advanced robotics program and provide more virtual learning opportunities in response to COVID-19.
